Portfolio
Welcome to my portfolio.
“The one thing I keep foremost in my mind when starting a job is, that this is not my house…
This is your home. The design we create will always reflect the things you love.”

This room in and of itself is a knock out. When doing the window treatments we were careful to use a style and fabric that would compliment and not detract from the room itself.
-
-
We chose a ruff woven sheer fabric draped in the classic swag and jabot style. It gives the room the desired finish without being overpowering.
-
-
The window treatments are carried through to the tap room
Fifth Avenue Apartment
-
-
When I first saw this apartment it felt very boxed in although the view was bigger than life.
-
-
The walls were closing in on you.
-
-
To solve the boxed in feeling we used lots of mirrors and reflective furniture. We took down the wall between the kitchen and the living room.
-
-
Kitchen before the wall was taken down.

-
The view is now open from the kitchen.
-
-
The curved design of the cabinets is mirrored in the shape of the bar stools, the counter top and the new opening in the wall.
-
-
Even the furniture and chandelier are reflective in Plexiglas and chrome.
-
-
We ran strips of glass tile on the floor in the kitchen running on the diagonal to create the illusion of a wider space.
-
-
The glass tiles on the column running from the kitchen counter to the ceiling bring your eye up making the ceiling feel higher than it really is.
-
-
The tiles on the floor in the foyer are glass and look spectacular reflected in the mirrored ceiling. The round wall sconces are antique yet modern in design.

-
-
The quintessential “budoir” dressed in apple green and rasberry silk fabrics
-
-
-
We mirrored walls, mullions, even the ceiling in the foyer.
-
-
What you feel now when entering the apartment is the illusion of never ending space and reflection, almost fantasy like.

Amazing gallery: The two antique chairs are done in fuchsia cut velvet.
-
-
The antique settee at the end of the gallery is upholstered in copper colored silk and fuchsia embroidered flowers. The drapes are done in a wonderful striped sheer fabric. We ran the stripe across in stead of up and down. Hung this way, when the stripe goes in and out of the fold it looks like ribbon candy.

Stately wood paneled living room
-
-
The grandeur of this dining room is amazing with the high ceilings and long windows.
-
-
We emphasized this grandeur with a large scale yellow and white pineapple wallpaper.
-
-
The black needle point rug with bright flowers grounds the room without weighing it down. I love this room.
-
-
The Den before was cluttered and uncomfortable.
-
-
After the Den was uncluttered and extremely comfortable.
-
-
We quilted the fabric on the club chairs for that extra welcoming feeling.
-
-
The color blue used in the coverlette and drapes is one of the prettiest blues I have ever seen. This elegant home is situated on the Indian River. With the water in the background, it just takes your breath away.
-
-
We brought dashes of color into the bedroom that were used through out the house. It was like throwing flowers around the room.
-
-
The Antique chair is done in a white linen with a large yellow flower applique. We brought in an artist to paint a botanical on the white armoire. The whole feel of the room is like being in a garden on the River.
-
-
The kitchen before was dull and not in keeping with the vibrant colors used through out the rest of the house.
-
-
My clients did not care about a huge kitchen remodeling job. The size of the kitchen suited their needs as it was. We just painted and papered to give the kitchen a lift.

My clients had an elevator installed, but found the enclosed space felt claustrophobic. We brought a talented artist in to paint a window. Problem solved

There were many colors used throughout this large bay front home. When doing the family room, my client wanted to keep the colors in this room more subdued, without losing the spirit of the house. We chose heavy durable fabrics in neutral colors for the sofa and two club chairs.
-
-
The woven wood shades let in just the right amount of light. For the wicker chairs we used a heavy turquoise chenille animal print, picking up the color in the custom boarder used for the sisal rug. The drapes are done in a multi-color embroidered fabric that ties in the colors used in the other rooms.

The Bamboo wall paper adds interest and texture to the powder room adjacent to the family room.

Before: My clients wanted to update their living room while keeping the green carpet. The carpet was very pretty and in good shape, so we decorated around it. We replaced the outdated salmon colored walls with a textured grass cloth paper
-
-
Before: The green sofa was worn and clashed with the carpet. We reupholstered the sofa in a very heavy soft chenille fabric.
-
-
Before: Chair
-
-
To add “the pop” and to tie in the green carpet, the drapes are done in a pattern of large orange and green tulips. This fabric is also very heavy and textured.
